We launched Corporate Actors Australia in 2015. Since then we have enjoyed rapid growth and we now have a diverse and talented pool of professional actors to draw from. They combine role play and improvisation skills with a deep understanding of a range of corporate environments.

Yvette Alcott

Partner

Yvette is a professional actor with 30 years experience in theatre, television and film. She began acting in the corporate sector over 15 years ago and has found this work enormously satisfying. Her clients include: QANTAS, Sinclair Knight Mertz, ABN Amro, NAB, Macquarie Group, AMP, Baker McKenzie, Johnson & Johnson, Optus, Macquarie University and Property NSW, Transport NSW, Caltex, OVP and University of South Australia. Also gaining invaluable experience across a variety of clients such as KPMG and Sparke Helmore with Peers and Players.

With a theatre career spanning over 50 live stage productions, Yvette has acquired sharp improvisation skills and is quick to build characters and create situations to meet a client’s brief, portraying complex managerial and C-suite roles with credibility and authenticity.
She has a BA(Hons) in Theatre/Psychology which underpins these abilities.

Her TV credits include Water Rats, All Saints, Police Rescue, The Leaving of Liverpool, and feature films include The Day Neil Armstrong Walked on The Moon and Passion.

James Bean

For over 15 years James has acted as a corporate role player in development centres across a range of sectors including finance, ICT, law, health and government. Client organisations include Macquarie Group, Optus, Caltex, Teachers Health, Official Visitors Program, Property NSW, Unilever, Qantas, Macquarie University and NAB. With Peers and Players, James has taken part in numerous development centres for KPMG, Citi, HSF and the Australian Public Service Commission.

James has a MA in Communication and is experienced at working within a culturally and linguistically diverse setting, having taught English for several years at the Sydney University’s Centre for English Teaching. A professional actor for over thirty years, James has worked in theatres around Australia and appeared on television in All Saints, Home and Away and many commercials. His work as a presenter includes numerous corporate videos and product launches.

Barbara Bingham

Barbara was introduced to the world of corporate professional development in 2000. She has participated in training workshops ranging from recruitment selection processes to vital communications in middle management and effective leadership skills for the senior and C-Suite level. Her clients include Unilever, Macquarie Group, Caltex, Teachers Health, OVP, AMP, Optus, Volkswagen Financial Services, Macquarie University, SKM (Jacobs), Qantas Airlines, Jetstar, Goodman Fielder, Johnson & Johnson and University of South Australia. She credits her start with Peers and Players for work with KPMG, Herbert Smith Freehills, and Citi.

Barbara spent 18 years in Los Angeles as a working actor. Her TV acting roles include the original Hawaii 5-0, the miniseries SPACE, Knots Landing and Bridge across Time. She starred in the films Soldiers Fortune, Cop Target and Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.

Barbara finds corporate training powerful and intensely rewarding.

Christopher Burke

Chris is an actor, director, producer and voice-over artist. A graduate of the University of Western Sydney, he has a BA (Theatre) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He has been a professional actor for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience in theatre, television, film and corporate performance. His credits include Water Rats, Home and Away, All Saints, Chandon Pictures, Power Games, A Place to Call Home and The Ropes.

As a corporate Role Player, Chris has worked with many government and corporate organisations including Peers and Players, Herbert Smith Freehills, Sparke Helmore, NAB, KPMG, Citi, Seven West Media, Johnson & Johnson, Volkswagen, Qantas, Jetstar, Optus, SKM (Jacobs), Macquarie Group, AMP, OVP, Caltex, University of South Australia, and Waverly Council. Was executive level public servants and many more. He has also worked with the Sydney Short Course in Intensive Care for several years and with the medical unit of the ADF.
